House rules for Van der Valk Hilversum – de Witte Bergen

 

1. Follow Instructions: All instructions from staff related to the house rules must be followed immediately.
2. Respect: We treat each other with respect. Insults and discriminatory remarks are prohibited.
3. No Intimidation: Sexual intimidation of guests or staff is not allowed.
4. Maintain Quiet: Causing noise disturbance is not permitted. Upon violation, you will receive a single warning, after which you must leave the hotel immediately.
5. Respect Property: Use the property of the hotel and others with care. Theft and vandalism are prohibited and any damages will be charged.
6. No Violence: Use or threat of violence is prohibited.
7. Room Access: Only registered hotel guests may enter the rooms and hotel areas.
8. No Smoking: Smoking is prohibited throughout the hotel. A fine of €150 will be imposed for violations.
9. Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is not served to visitors under 18 years of age. If in doubt, staff may ask for identification.
10. No Outside Food or Drink: Bringing and consuming your own food and drinks in the restaurant or on the terrace is prohibited.
11. No Alcohol if Drunk: Alcohol will not be served to individuals suspected of being intoxicated.
12. No Drugs: The possession, use, or trading of (soft) drugs, including nitrous oxide, is prohibited.
13. No Trading: Trading, fencing goods, or offering services within the hotel is prohibited.
14. Emergency Situations: In case of emergencies, the emergency plan will be activated. Always follow staff instructions.
15. Personal Belongings: Do not leave your belongings unattended. The hotel is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
16. Parking: Parking is at your own risk, both on the parking lot and in the vicinity of the hotel.
17. Check-In: Check-in is possible from 14:00.
18. Check-Out: Check-out must be done by 12:00. For late check-out, notify and pay by 12:00. This is possible until 17:00, subject to availability.
19. Visitors: Visitors are not allowed in the hotel or rooms.
20. Payment: Reservations must be paid in advance unless a credit card authorization is provided for guarantee.
21. Food and Drink: Food or drink left in a checked-out room will be discarded.
22. Reservations: Reservations can be made from 18 years of age. The booker is responsible for all registered guests. For minors, parental or guardian consent is required.
23. Pets: Pets are allowed for an additional fee in garden rooms only. A maximum of 2 pets per room.
24. Lost and Found: Lost items are kept for up to 3 months and then destroyed.
25. Fitness Room: The fitness room is open 24 hours a day and used at your own risk.
26. Deposit: A deposit of €150 is required for walk-in reservations, reservations after 20:00, and suites.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy. This means that we can proceed with eviction without warning. Non-compliance with these house rules may result in immediate removal from the hotel. Access to the building may be denied, and your reservation terminated without refund. Any paid deposit will be forfeited.
