Wandel4Daagse 't Gooi

The Stichting Wandelvierdaagse Het Gooi is kicking off the new season with its popular series of monthly group walks. The first event will take place on Sunday, November 11, featuring a 19.6 km hike through the heather to the beautifully autumn-clad Spanderswoud near Bussum.

Participants will gather at the SV Laren clubhouse on Schuilkerkpad in Laren, where registration will be open from 8:45 AM. The walk will begin around 9:30 AM, and participation costs 5 euros, which includes coffee and a snack. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed.

The route will take walkers through Laarder Eng and over the Westerheide to the Hilversum villa district of Trompenburg. From there, the path continues through the Spanderswoud to the Korfbalvereniging, where there will be a coffee break. The return journey will pass through the Bussummerheide and Westerheide.

We are excited that walkers can hit the trails again. This marks our first event after the successful four-day event in June, which saw over 1,400 participants.

15th Edition of the Four-Day Walk 2025

We have also begun preparations for the 15th edition of the Gooise Four-Day Walk, scheduled for June 11 to 14, 2025.
